般舟三昧

(般舟) (sa) pratyutpannasamādhi, the (sa) samadhi in which the Buddhas of the ten directions are seen as clearly as the stars at night. Also called 常行道 or 常行三昧 the prolonged (sa) samadhi, because of the length of time required, either seven or ninety days. Its sutra is the般舟三昧經.
